System Requirement For Internet client - Browser
- Min RAM 128 MB. (Recommended RAM 256 MB).
- Processor with minimum 1 GHz speed.
- The minimum internet connection speed should be 256 kbps.
- Internet Explorer 5.0 and above with Java Enabled.
- JAVA plug-in for viewing chart, streaming quotes and instant alerts on web page.
- Enable cookies on your web browser.
- For firewall or proxy server, enable ports 5001, 5002, 5003 and 6001
for streaming quotes and alerts.
- Symantec Antivirus.
Opening of Ports for ‘Browser’
Ensure that ports are open in firewall at your end or contact your Internet service provider (ISP) for the opening of following ports:
ports:
5001
5002
5003
6001
Telnet the ports to check whether its is opened:
Go to Start – Run – type CMD
Command Prompt will open
Check following commands:
_ telnet 125.17.127.73 5001
_ telnet 125.17.127.73 6001
_ telnet 125.17.127.74 5002
_ telnet 125.17.127.74 5003
If the port is opened the command prompt screen will remain blank otherwise it will display Connect Failed port is not open for IP address, then contact your ISP.
